KLIM Mistral is a cooling pad that is easy to use and compatible with laptops between 15 and 17 inches. The pad offers three settings with one of them being the quietest. The pad has two different seals to accommodate size. The cooling pad automatically cools even without any option on. The KLIM Mistral uses a rubber gasket to form a seal with the bottom of the laptop, ensuring that the majority of cool air goes through the laptop and not around it. A pair of vent partitions are provided to keep hot exhaust from being drawn into the intakes. However, the twin fans are fairly noisy in comparison to other laptop cooling pads, including those with more fans, even at their lowest setting. The KLIM Mistral lowered the temperatures of laptops between 6 and 8 degrees Celsius. One drawback of the KLIM Mistral is that it makes a lot of noise, which makes headphones necessary. Additionally, the pad automatically turns itself on, but the fan speed and LED settings are not saved which requires them to be reset at each startup.
