Multi-Code Keypads & Remotes Multicode 4200 Editorial Review
The MultiCode Cordless Keypad has elicited a mixed response from customers, showcasing both strong appreciation for its functionality as well as significant concerns about its durability and design. Many users have praised the keypad for its reliable performance, particularly emphasizing its ease of programming and capacity to withstand various weather conditions when appropriately sheltered. For those who have replaced an older model, the new version has met expectations, functioning similarly and maintaining a sleek appearance. However, there are notable criticisms regarding the keypad's build quality. Several reviewers reported that the device is not very sturdy, with parts prone to breaking easily. The absence of a dedicated 'Enter' key has also led to confusion for some users, resulting in operational errors when the 'Access' key is accidentally pressed. Additionally, there are concerns regarding the product authenticity, as one customer received a model different from what was ordered, along with issues around security perceived in its design. On the customer service front, feedback has been overwhelmingly positive regarding the seller's responsiveness and willingness to assist with any issues. This aspect seems to stand out as a strong point amidst the critiques. In summary, while the MultiCode Cordless Keypad generally satisfies users with its core functions and customer support, potential buyers should be cautious of its Construction quality and ensure they receive the correct model. **
