The Fleck 617629987478 5600 12-Day Timer Replacement softener valve is an excellent replacement for old valves in tanks with up to 13 inches in diameter, used for water softening purposes. It comes with a prewired low voltage cable and is designed to bypass hard water during regeneration. It's also easy to install and has rebuild kits available. However, it's not suitable for use in acid neutralizer tanks and doesn't come with a front dust cover, strainer, or nipple for discharge line. Some customers have complained about poor customer service and a lack of contact information from the seller.
