Answer: Battery only unless you buy a separate mains adaptor. -

Answer: If your Audiobooks are on Cassette yes. But I'd highly recommend finding an old high quality one which has been serviced. -

Does this record voice?
Answer: Sure. It will produce a low quality, muffled sounding recording of voice if you hold it close to your face. Any further than arms length and it struggles to pick up any sound at all. -

Does the unit come with a blank cassette to record to?
Answer: No it doesn’t and the cassette playback often is distorted and slow. You really get what you pay for here. -

Is there an audio cassette player/recorder that will allow me to simply record tape to tape?
Answer: Not with this machine. You need a double tape player to do that. -

Can I record from the radio?
Answer: Only from radio it seems, hope this helps. -

Answer: You can just get batteries but your best bet is to call into an electrical shop. -
