- 2011 yılında kaybettiğimiz şair Didem Madak'ın yapıtı, son yıllarda çok sevilen, ilgiyle elden ele dolaşan üç kitaptan oluşuyor : Grapon Kağıtları, Ah'lar Ağacı ve Pulbiber Mahallesi. Aralık 2014'te Didem Madak'ın dostları, eleştirmen ve akademisyenler ve tutkulu okurları bir sempozyumda bir araya geldiler ve onun eserini farklı veçheleriyle ele aldılar. Madak'ın poetikası kimlik, benlik, dil, zaman ve mekan ilişkileri, hatırlama ve unutma, edebi kanon ve kadınlık halleri gibi başlıklar altında verimli bir yorumlamanın ve tartışmanın konusu oldu.Türkiye'nin son yılları, Didem Madak'ın da eserini verdiği bu dönem, hem kadınlar üzerindeki siyasi ve kültürel baskıların giderek arttığı hem de kadınların toplumsal mücadelelerinin farklı bir düzeye yükseldiği yıllar. Tam da bu nedenle bu kitapta bir araya gelen çoğu yazı, Didem Madak'a sadece edebiyat eleştirisinin perspektifinden bakmak yerine, daha geniş, farklı disiplinler tarafından beslenen bir bakış açısını benimseyerek bizlere Türkiye'de kadın olmanın, hem kadın hem şair olmanın de-neyimlerini hatırlatan bir niteliğe sahip.Bu bildirilerde gösterilen düşünsel çaba, edebiyat eserleri üzerine tartışma ve yorumlamanın, farklı okuma biçimlerinin, söz konusu eseri bir anlamda yeniden inşa ederek ne kadar üretken olabileceğini de kanıtlıyor.
