Koh-I-Noor Extra Soft Pastels Set is a great purchase for pastel enthusiasts due to its decently soft texture and vivid color payoff. It's not as soft as high-end pastels, but at a very reasonable price point, it's quite acceptable. The pastels are easily laid down and blend beautifully without leaving a lot of dust. However, the plastic covering on the pastels is difficult to remove. The product comes in a thin cardboard box that isn't practical for travel, but it provides a good storage solution. The set colors are saturated and relatively clean, which is a plus for pastel lovers. The whites are opaque and can draw without tricks, which is a big win.
