The Mackie Onyx Series 8-Channel Premium Analog Mixer with Multi-Track USB is a great choice for podcasting and multi-track recording. It comes with a digital interface and a built-in flash recorder that delivers good sound quality on the inputs and outputs, as well as a friendly EQ. It is also iPad Pro compatible and can be used with external effects processors such as the Eventide H90. The mixer is not without faults though, as it does not have line-level inputs and does not record multitrack to the SD card. Additionally, it does not have a return input, which means one of the inputs has to be used instead. Nevertheless, the mixer is well-made and has a beautiful, clean sound which is perfect with DJ programs and provides beautiful sound settings.
